Scarlett has been interested in the brain since she was a child and believes that every child deserves the right to reach their full potential. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and Education and has a vast knowledge in Special Education Law. She joined the PPCD team in 2012. As the Executive director, her goal is to make sure every team member is set up for success. She believes that in order to make the real change, individualized, holistic services must be provided to every client that walks through PPCD’s door.
Scarlett has a true passion for helping families and loves advocating for fair and equal treatment of all children. Her daily mission statement is “to ensure every family that PPCD serves feels loved and equipped with all necessary services, recommendations, accommodations and supports.” When families complete testing or counseling at PPCD, she hopes that the parent/guardian leaves feeling like they have enough support and answers that they are empowered to go out and advocate for their child.
In her spare time, Scarlett enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and Boston Terrier, and shopping for treasures at Goodwill!
